– The filming of the MV took in place in August 2001, long before the release of the premiere itself and was suspended due to bad weather
– At the very end of the MV, an editing error was made, a flying insect was not removed
– The scene on the edge of the cliff with the rape was Britney’s idea, althought it turned out to be dangerous fo the team
– Several version of the MV were officialy released, a version from the album and with scenes from the movie “Crossroads”
– The MV “I’m Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman” became the 6th video in the MTV Making the Video program and premiered in December 2001.

– Режиссером видеоклипа выступил профессионал по камере – легенда Херб Ритц. Съёмки проходили 1 день на острове Ки-Бискейн, Флорида;
– Премьера видеоклипа должна была состояться в День святого Валентина, но по причине монтажа задержалась до начала марта 2001 года;
– Некоторые откровенные и довольно сексуальные сцены не понравились Линн Спирс и она была готова противостоять выходу видеоклипа на экраны. В битве с матерью, несколько сцен были урезаны, но Бритни удалось отстоять чтобы премьера всё же состоялась;
– Молодого человека в видеоклипе играет французский супермодель Брис Деранд (возраст 23 года, на момент съёмок);
– Видео стало хитом заявок на MTV TRL, точно также как и предыдущие работы Бритни Спирс;
– “Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know” был номинирован на Billboard Music Award в категории “Лучший Музыкальный клип для Взрослых”, но свою победу не одержал.
